Straight Stairlifts

Suitable for straight staircases, the Acorn 130 straight stairlift is a safe, comfortable and easy to use solution. These stairlifts are in stock and can be delivered/installed within 1-2 working days. Installation time is about 90 minutes with minimal disruption to your home.

Curved Stairlifts

If your staircase has a turn or bend in it then the Acorn 180 curved stairlift would be the preferred solution. Please note that curved stairlifts are made to order and can take 2-3 weeks from order to delivery. Installation time takes about 2 hours.

 

Warranty / Service

When you buy a stairlift from Mobility Direct it comes with a 2 year warranty as standard. Also included is the first year’s service. Our stairlifts are maintenance free however it is recommended that the stairlift is serviced once a year.

 

Grants

Grants are available for stairlifts from your local county council. The two main grants available are the housing adaption grant (for people with a physical or mental disability) and the mobility aids housing grant (typically for elderly people with mobility issues). The grant will cover a certain percentage of the costs and will be assessed based on the household income. For more grant information please contact us.
